7:30am – 10:30am

Join us for an exclusive morning at the Port of Tilbury, London’s major port and a key gateway for global trade.

Start your day with a relaxed networking breakfast while connecting with fellow professionals across a range of industries. Following the networking session, guests will enjoy a guided bus tour of the Port, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at one of the UK’s busiest and fastest-growing logistics hubs.

The tour will take in both the main Port of Tilbury and provide views of the impressive Tilbury2 expansion, showcasing the scale and future of port operations along the Thames.

Located just 25 miles from central London, the Port of Tilbury is the principal port for the capital and handles a diverse range of cargo including containers, construction materials, paper, grain, vehicles and bulk commodities. Its strategic location and multimodal connections - road, rail and river, make it a vital hub serving over 20 million people within a 75-mile radius.

The port has undergone significant investment and growth in recent years. The Tilbury2 development, built on the site of the former Tilbury Power Station, represents a major expansion of capacity and infrastructure. It includes a new roll-on/roll-off ferry terminal and a large construction materials and aggregates terminal, supporting the UK’s growing demand for logistics and building materials. This expansion has strengthened the port’s ability to handle increasing freight volumes, improve efficiency, and support national and regional economic growth.

Today, the Port of Tilbury continues to play a crucial role in the UK supply chain, combining its rich heritage with modern, large-scale operations and ambitious future developments such as Tilbury3, an 143 acre rail connected site capable of accommodating a wide range of industrial and logistics activities, that gained outline planning consent in February.
