Changes to your Membership status

- If your membership has expired or been cancelled, you will not be permitted to attend any Chambers events* as a non-member for a 6-month period from the end date of your membership term. *This excludes International Trade Training and Exhibitions.

- Any pre-booked Events* that occur AFTER the termination of your membership (for any reason) will be refunded. *This excludes International Trade Training and Exhibitions. 

- Any pre-booked International Trade Training or Exhibitions that occur AFTER the termination of your membership (for any reason) will be converted to a standard booking and the additional costs must be paid. 

*Non-Member Attendance to Events

- Non-members can only attend or exhibit at TWO of our events or training after the 6-month post membership period.

- If you book to attend or exhibit at more than two events or training, you will be notified that your subsequent bookings will be cancelled and refunded.

- The attendance of more than two of these events or training is down to the discretion of Essex Chambers of Commerce and reviewed on an individual basis.

Training & Presentation Materials

- Our providers create and supply any training/presentation materials that are used and/or circulated to attendees. The Essex Chambers of Commerce bears no responsibility or liability for any errors, omissions, inaccuracies or negligent statements contained in these materials.

- The content of the training/presentation materials are the copyright of the provider. Any redistribution or reproduction of part or all of the contents is strictly prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

- The Essex Chambers of Commerce bears no responsibility of liability between you and the training provider.

Confidentiality

- The Essex Chambers of Commerce bears no responsibility of confidentiality between you and the provider.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure the attendance of our advertised speakers, we cannot be held responsible for any last minute changes and refunds will not be available.

Payment

 - All event bookings need to be made and paid online only unless we have agreed alternative arrangements with you in advance of the event. If you have any queries, please contact our Accounts Manager Rachael Hogg on 01206 363721.

- Each ticket is for ONE attendee only, please book per person attending. Additional logins from one ticket will be terminated.

- The Chambers have the right to refuse entry to events to any attendee who has not made payment in full.

Cancellation

- Members – Please notify the events team to cancel your booking at your earliest opportunity.

- Non-Members - 4 full working days’ notice, prior to the actual event day, is required to cancel an event place and qualify for a full refund. Cancellation must be submitted in writing to the events team at events@essexchambers.co.uk.

- There is no charge if a substitute person wishes to replace an existing attendee. Please inform us as soon as possible.

- Refunds are not issued for attendee connectivity issues - If a speaker or host’s connectivity fails the event will be rescheduled.

- We reserve the right to cancel any event at any time without liability. In the unlikely event of this happening attendees would be offered an alternative date, event or a full refund.
